One Good Egg Reading a grand success

One Good Egg, my new full-length play, was performed at the readings weekend at the Powerhouse Theatre at Vassar on  July 22nd.  It was a tremendous week with an incredible cast.  With their help, I was able to rewrite almost half the play and discover moments about the characters that never even occurred to me.

Many thanks to Melia Bensussen for her incredible direction, Len Berkman for dramaturgy, and Jennifer Barnhart, Clifton Duncan, Robert Eli, Daniel Eric Gold, Mandi Masden, Kelly McAndrew, Jo Mei, harsh Nayyar and Will Cantler and team at Bernie Kelsey and Co. casting.

ONE GOOD EGG going to the Powerhouse Theatre at Vassar

I’m soooo thrilled.  New York Stage and Film, where I worked my first 6 years out of college, is going to do a reading of my new play ONE GOOD EGG the weekend of July 21-23.  It’s my first full length in so long, having been buried in kid TV land for over two decades.  It’s amazing to be going back to where it all started and returning to my first love of theatre.  I hope this is the beginning of a journey for ONE GOOD EGG.  The topic is infertility and it would be nice to keep getting a spotlight on this issue and give people a few laughs.
